Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to oversee field operations for installing deep underground utilities in new land development projects while acting as a vital link between office and field teams to ensure seamless project execution and success. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee the installation of deep underground utilities and land development projects, providing on-site leadership and expertise.
  • Act as the primary connection between project management and field teams, ensuring clear communication of project plans, timelines, and objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Mentor and lead field teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact, ensuring clear and professional communication regarding project status, challenges, and updates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in a supervisory role in land development or underground utility installation.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and materials related to deep underground utilities and land development.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams in the field.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Deep understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
