Connaught Offsite Services

A high-profile project set on Connaught Drive in the Municipality of Jasper, GS Construction was responsible for the installation of 850 lineal meters of new 250mm diameter watermain and 550 lineal meters of new 200mm diameter sanitary sewer main to service three new lots on Connaught Drive. Excavating and screening the native material in this area required the coordination of up to 12 end-dump trucks each day to constantly cycle material between site and a nearby pit where GS screened and sorted the material with a machine-fed separator. Tight timelines for project completion required four separate GS Construction crews to be operating at one time on Connaught Drive, carefully planning and working with various subcontractors to ensure that roadway restoration could be completed prior to the winter. Surface restoration include the installation of 600 lineal meters of 2.15m width moonwalk and new asphalt from curb to curb.
